These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Window Stash browser extension (the "Extension") and the Window Stash website (windowstash.com) (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension or the Website.
Window Stash is licensed, not sold, to you. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Extension and Website for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for your own use of Window Stash. This means you must use the Extension in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You also are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and browser data. Please note that removing or uninstalling the Extension, or clearing your browser's data, may result in the loss of any windows or tabs you have stashed (since that data is stored on your device). We recommend that you use the Extension as intended and understand its features to avoid unintended data loss.
Furthermore, you agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, for example, not attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise tamper with the Extension, not using the Service to violate the rights of others, and not introducing harmful code (such as viruses or malware) into the Extension or Website.
Your privacy is very important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information in connection with the Service. By using the Extension or the Website, you agree that Window Stash may collect and use certain information as described in the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.
The Window Stash Extension and Website (including all text, graphics, logos, and software code) are the intellectual property of Christopher Schmitz (the "Developer") and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are not granted any ownership rights in the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Window Stash's software or content, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Extension, except as permitted by law or with written permission from the owner.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Developer or any affiliates, licensors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use Window Stash. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, loss of profits, or computer damage. These limitations apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You assume full responsibility for any consequences that arise from your use of Window Stash.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Developer from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including any use of the Extension or Website that violates any law or regulation or infringes the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service (or certain functionalities of the Service) at any time, with or without notice, for example if you violate these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the Extension. Upon any termination of these Terms, the rights and licenses granted to you will terminate and you should cease all use of Window Stash. You are free to stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.
We may modify or update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document and, if appropriate, by additional notice on our Website or via the Extension. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of Window Stash after any changes to these Terms signifies your acceptance of those changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By using Window Stash, you agree that any disputes arising in connection with the Service or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
